Septic Installation/Repair Foreman

As a Septic Foreman, you will be required to layout jobsites and build septic systems as per the engineered designs, knowing there will be inspections from the engineer or governing body as per town requirements. Quality workmanship and best practices are required to ensure the safety and exceptional results we continuously provide to our customers. You will be responsible for planning job timelines i.e. tank and sand deliveries. You must be a highly motivated self- starter with a strong sense of purpose and direction.
Qualifications
- This role requires significant experience in septic installation; without it, you will not be considered
- Proven experience in septic system installation or a related field
- Knowledge of septic regulations, codes, and safety standards
- Ability to operate heavy machinery and tools safely
- Class A CDL
- Operate equipment needed for installation (excavator, skid-steer, dump truck, etc.)
- Ability to speak, cooperate and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers and management
- Customer and Quality focus
- Basic computer literacy
- Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
- Basic measurement and calculation skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of basic hand and mechanical tools
- Must be a team player, but also be able to work independently
- Have a good attitude, good work ethic and have willingness to learn
- Excellent observation skills and a strong attention to detail
- Work safely near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis
- Work outdoors in various conditions including heat, humidity, rain, dust, noise, and cold

Job Duties
- In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing septic systems for both residential and commercial properties
- The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with septic system installation, a strong understanding of local regulations, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service
- Septic System Installation: Install new septic systems, including tank and leach field setups, in compliance with local regulations and codes
- Maintenance and Repairs: Perform regular maintenance and repairs on existing septic systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and meet all safety standards
- Customer Service: Communicate effectively with clients to explain services, answer questions, and ensure satisfaction with the installation process
- Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, wear appropriate protective gear, and adhere to environmental regulations
- Equipment Operation: Operate various tools and machinery required for septic system installation, including excavators, skid steers, and other various excavation equipment
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of services provided, materials used, and inspections conducted
- Ensure proper reporting of job progress and any issues encountered
- Also running machinery with basic labor work on certain job sites and hauling materials
