Part-Time Office Assistant

This role is for approximately 20 hours a week with strong potential to grow into a full-time position.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to speak, cooperate, and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and management
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Basic computer literacy
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Light bookkeeping experience preferred
- Willingness to learn and be part of a team

Job Duties
- Answer incoming phone calls and take messages
- Schedule septic and plumbing jobs and manage daily calendars
- Schedule go-back appointments and coordinate Dig Safe locating requests
- Prepare and send quotes
- Create and distribute invoices
- Manage accounts receivable and process payments
- Maintain and update customer profiles and contact information
- Collect septic system information from customers, towns, and watershed offices
- Complete written septic inspection paperwork
- Communicate with marketing partners as needed
- Contact suppliers and order supplies when applicable
- Track waste documentation and records
- Organize paperwork and manage incoming/outgoing mail and emails
- Answer customer questions and provide professional support
